It belongs to the SL Series, a line of mid-range performance notebooks that include a suite of business-grade tools and ThinkPad's renowned technology and reliability. The notebook features some of today's latest technologies. These include Intel's processors of that go up to Intel Core 2 Duos. SL510 incorporates fast memory and can max out at 8GB of DDR3 RAM. The SL510 also comes with a large hard drive. While on the road, business laptops should be reliable and secure. The ThinkPad SL510 provides for both these. It comes with an Active Protection System that protects the hard drive from crashes. SL510 has a built-in spill-resistant keyboard and it comes with an option fingerprint reader to lock out people who do not have authorized access to your computer. Lenovo's ThinkPad SL510 comes with a 15.6" high-definition, widescreen LED backlit display. It uses an integrated Intel graphics solution. The SL510 weights 5.64 lbs. with its 6-cell battery.
